Bake Club FAQ!

What is bake club?

Bake Club is a monthly themed dessert potluck where everyone brings a homemade bake to share. Think cookbook club meets social hangout meets dessert table.

Do I need baking experience?

No. Beginners are welcome. Bakes do not need to be perfect, but they do need to be homemade (no store-bought items).

What should I bring?

Bring one homemade baked item that fits the theme, plus a serving utensil if needed. No store bough bakes.

How much should I make?

Bring one batch of your recipe i.e. 1-2 dozen cookies, one cake, one loaf. Do not double the recipe unless explicitly told to.

Do I need to bring my dessert in a specific container?

We like to remove baked goods like cookies, pastries, muffins, bars, and similar items from their original containers and place them directly onto brown parchment paper on the table. This helps save space and allows for stacking and easier sharing.
Cakes can stay on your personal cake stand or cake pan. Please avoid excessively large trays or oversized pans when possible. After we take the baked goods out of your Tupperware, please return the Tupperware to your car.

Can I bring my own Tupperware to take baked goods home?

Yes. During the first pass through the dessert table, members must use the provided Bake Club box. After everyone has gone through once, you’re welcome to use your own containers or Tupperware for leftovers.

What if I have leftovers of my baked good after the event?

Please take any leftovers home with you at the end of the event. We are not able to store or keep extra baked goods after cleanup.

Can I come alone?

Yes. Most members come alone. Bake Club is designed to be social, welcoming, and easy to meet people.

  • Enter the name on your ID when purchasing your ticket. We'll have a list of all attendees to check in!
  • Your ticket fee goes towards event space rental and supplies from both hosts.

I am a one woman show, putting my personal time into organizing and hosting this event. Because of this, No refunds or event exchanges will be given if you no show, or decide you can't come after registering.
