Block Printed Piece 5

Each Asilomar block printed piece is completely handmade from start to finish in small batches. Every design begins with a hand carved stamp that is individually inked and carefully pressed onto the garment by hand, making each print slightly unique with its own character and texture. After printing, pieces undergo a week-long line drying process before being heat cured to permanently set the design, making them safe for regular wear and washing.

Many of our garments are thoughtfully sourced secondhand as part of our commitment to reducing clothing waste while giving new life to colorful, one-of-a-kind pieces in a wide range of sizes and styles. Because of the handmade nature of the printing process, slight variations, faded textures, and imperfections are all part of what make each item special.

Patchwork garments and appliqué pieces are hand sewn individually and should be hand washed or washed on a delicate cycle to help preserve the stitching and keep patches secure over time. To extend the life of your piece, we also recommend air drying whenever possible.

No two Asilomar pieces are exactly alike — each one is wearable art made slowly, intentionally, and with a love for craftsmanship, sustainability, and coastal-inspired color.
